Editing of film

Nat will be the head editor of the film as she feels she has a flair for it, which I agree! I'm not a very techy person at all so am happy for her to take on anything like this. She will be doing most of the compossiting on Shake then the final cut will be edited on...Final Cut!!
As the film has evolved, certain shots don't mean as much as they used to. We have decided to cut out two scenes. The first is one animated by Bron, which we all loved, was the low angle running shot. It just it didn't read well in the story anymore and stood out too much. The second was reluctenly cut by me. I was a huge fan of the extreme wide shot of Sarafina and the emos first encounter, but like the run, didn't make any sence to keep in anymore.

Problems

Due to extreme business and blogspot not working for a while, there haven't been any updates on here for a while...I've found it extremely hard to keep up with a blog, having never had one before I find it hard to either find the time or remember to update it.

So far the project is going smoothly. Not as many hicups as I thought. We're now on the last 3 weeks so it's now 100% editing time.

Group work...Hmmmm, now this is a toughy. It's been next to impossible to find work for this...So far I've done a bit of concept for David, Ash and Nik, about 5 seconds of animation for Broni and in the process of making a poster for Claire. I've not had the chance to put anything up on my blog yet, need to scan everything in and stick it up when I have the chance!! Again, it's all about finding the time and then making the effect to update this...

Anyway, I WILL be sticking everything up this week, honest. I've got my dissertation hand in in a week so my head is spinning exorist style at the moment...
