Steeple Jack concept

I will be doing most of my group work on Daves project. His film is based on the life of the famous yorkshire Steeple Jack Fred Dibnah.
I've started off by doing some initional concept work of steeples and Fred. On Photoshop as I am wanting to learn to use photoshop properly.

Inverted images

The main style of our film is going to be black and white inverted. Me and Nat have inverted some of our concept work to get a better feeling on what the film will look like.

Animatic

Here's a copy of our very first animatic. It's a very rough version, mainly so we can see how the timing will be and if any of the shots read right.

personnal timtable

Unfortunately due to internet problems in my flat, I've been unable to post for a while, also I've been ill with a bad cold and unable to work much.
Today myself and Nat had a meeting to discuss our timetabling. We have agreed on a timetable that we will stick to for this term. Also we have given each other deadlines to keep to to keep us on track.
Tomorrow we are going to start with this new schedule.

Monday-Friday:
10-1pm main project work
1-2pm Lunch
2-4pm main project work
4-8pm Dissertation/ Own time
8-8:15pm Project meeting

Saturday:
12-1pm Lunch
1:30-5pm main project work

The timetable will change if needed but this is the rough outline of our week.

This will change as time goes on as the work increases. It will be roughly the same, just extra hours during the day.

Problems

Since Nat left to go home due to family matters, I have been working on more concept work. We both agreed that with her away, I should keep up with the work and communicate via email and phone. Also, with myself going away for a week this Monday, I am doing as much concept work as possible.
My work will be posted shortly.

idea sketches

Today I have been working on some concept work for the character The Money Grabber. I've started with the male character first using Nat's original sketches.
I have tried to stick to Nat's first sketches, but also adding my own style to them. To start with, I'm going to be drawing the character in detail, to get a feel of what he might look like, then once I'm comfortable with what he looks like, I will start to simplify him to fit with the style Nat wants.
Myself and Nat got together for a talk. While I was working on my concepts, Nat wrote up the treatment and then consulted me to make sure she had put everything in.
Not hit any problems with Nat, all is running smoothly.

It begins...

After pitching a few ideas to Sean in class yesterday (27/09/07), both me and Natasha have decided it would be best to work together. Sean liked both mine and Nat's ideas and suggested that we merge two of them together. Today, we have been discussing how do do this successfully, organizing our time and discussing concept art work.
Because the bulk of our idea is mostly Nat's, we both think it's best if she directs the film. I'm happy with this because I think that Nat will do the job much better than I can!
This week I will be working on some basic concept work.
